2024Youth Basketball 5-18 Years Old

Welcome to AIR Sports (All-In-Reverence) Recreation Ministry of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. AIR Sports is first and foremost a ministry exposing players and coaches with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We offer youth basketball divisions ranging from 5-18 years old for both boy and girl teams. If someone is 18 years old they must still be enrolled in their school.

In rare cases, some divisions simply may not have enough players sign-up. In this situation we will try to place players in other divisions or a refund will be issued.

This league is designed for those who do not play basketball for any school team; therefore anyone who is currently playing for a school team will not be allowed to play in this league unless a wavier form is accepted. AIR Sports of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church does not determine if a wavier is accepted or denied, this is handled by the league officials with Play Book For Life.

Games are played at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church gym and away games at other churches in the Charlotte/Matthews area.

All games are played on Saturdays from 8:30AM to 3:45PM

Each team will have one practice a week at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Gym. Younger age teams will have earlier practice times starting around 6PM with the older teams practicing at later times. Practices will be either on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or a Friday. Practices will start the second week of November. The practice days are selected by your teams coaches and will be determined after registration closes and teams are formed.

While we try to accommodate players wanting to be on the same team with their friends, and/or with certain Coaches, this does not always work out. Teams are formed based upon age, experience, enrollment, and adjustments to the rosters. Team rosters are formed based upon what is best for the team and not individual preferences.

Team Rosters will be released sometime mid November. Your coach will reach out to you by email with the roster, practice time, and game schedule. Game schedules will only show a few weeks at a time, thus allowing adjustments to fairly match teams together as the season progresses. There are no games scheduled the week of Christmas and the week after.
